PHYSIOTHERAPY

At Revival Health, we have a team of experienced physiotherapists who work together to put a stop to your pain and any physical limitation you may be experiencing.

Seeing a physiotherapist is a proactive way to obtain treatment for existing conditions and bring about long-term health benefits. We use non-surgical treatments to manage a broad range of musculoskeletal conditions and chronic diseases that affect your bones, muscles, ligaments, tendons, cardiovascular system and nerves.

We’re here to improve your quality of life. Our goal is to help restore and improve your body's function so that you can go about your daily life as you choose.

How do we do it at Revival Health Physio?

The Revival Difference

Assessment:

During your consultation, we will thoroughly examine your medical history and subjectively and objectively assess your physical condition using various special tests. We will provide you with an accurate diagnosis and ensure that you understand the condition you are experiencing and most importantly the root causes of your pain. Together we will also discuss your goals, self management plan, our treatment plan and answer any other questions that you may have.

We will always re-assess you using the outline measures we obtained during your consultations to ensure that you are improving at every step of your recovery journey and achieving your goals with us.

Treatment:

This is the PASSIVE & ACTIVE part of your recovery.

Passively, your physiotherapists may use various treatment methods (see intervention modalities outlined below) to help you reduce pain, improve mobility and restore function during and after your physiotherapy consultation. However, it is extremely crucial that you follow your treatment plan consistently provided by your physiotherapist at your own time to continue to ACTIVELY treat the condition. We do not want you to see you taking 3 steps forwards at our clinic but 2 steps back again at home. By focusing on both the ACTIVE & PASSIVE components of your physio treatment, this will not only ensure your recovery is swift and effective, but also less money and time spent in healthcare. Not to mention the time you spent in discomfort and pain!
